This is Pine’s third major announcement within the last 10 days, following the recent endorsements of Congresswoman Jackie Speier and former Assemblyman Gene Mullin.

The announcement was particularly timely due to the fact that ballots are now being mailed by the county elections office to all San Mateo County voters.

(Burlingame, CA) Dave Pine’s campaign for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in the May 3 all-mail ballot election picked up additional momentum today as he was endorsed by one of the region’s most respected educational leaders, former Assemblyman Gene Mullin of South San Francisco.
For 32 years, Mr. Mullin taught government and coached basketball at South San Francisco High School. After serving seven years on the South San Francisco City Council (including two years as Mayor), Assemblyman Mullin was elected in 2000 to represent the 19th Assembly District and the cities of San Mateo, Burlingame, Brisbane, Daly City, Foster City, Millbrae, San Bruno, South San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, and Belmont.
