Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to consider my candidacy for San Mateo County Supervisor in the all mail special election on May 3rd.

I have the necessary qualifications and experience to directly address our county’s unprecedented economic challenges and make the tough budget decisions needed to save critical county services.

With 18 years of high-tech business experience, I will work with the business community to attract high paying jobs to our county.  I will also scrutinize the county’s $1.8 billion dollar budget to prevent harmful cuts in law enforcement, fire protection, public health, parks, and vital services for seniors, children, and families.

As an elected school board member for seven years, I have a proven track record of financial accountability and creative problem solving. For example, as a San Mateo Union High School District board member, I helped implement the district’s three-megawatt solar project that will generate clean energy and save over $1 million annually in electricity costs.

My wife Jane and I are the proud parents of two young boys and I am committed to ensuring that the county maintains quality schools and youth services.

I have been endorsed by Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Assemblyman Rich Gordon, former Assemblyman Gene Mullin, San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools Anne Campbell, San Mateo County Controller Tom Huening, the Sierra Club, and more than 200 other local city councilmembers, school board members and community leaders.

Your endorsement, willingness to volunteer, and financial support would be of great help to the campaign and very much appreciated.
